Sheffield CPD Challenge
30 April 2018
Sheffield Institute of Education at Sheffield Hallam University is recruiting schools to take part in the Wellcome Trust’s CPD Challenge. This is an opportunity to make a difference to educational policy and practice on a national level.
Sheffield has been chosen as the only area of the country in which this pilot study will run. Over two years, forty primary, secondary and special schools will be challenged to meet a set of criteria relating to the quality and quantity of continuing professional development for teachers. We hope many schools in Sheffield will be interested in participating.
An information event will take place on Wednesday 2 May at Sheffield Hallam University from 4.30 – 6.30 at which you will be able to hear more about the project from Professor Sir John Holman, Senior Adviser in Education to Wellcome, meet the team running the Challenge, and learn how to get involved.
To reserve your place at the information event, and/or to express your school’s interest in being part of the project, go to https://tiny.cc/cpdchallenge.
If you can’t attend the information event, use this link to register your school’s interest in the project and we will be in touch. If you have any questions, please contact Emily Perry by email at firstname.lastname@example.orgPosted on 30 April 2018
